Oddly 29 gauge is the the thinest of these panels and typically used or metal building walls. However there are Roofing Companies that use the 29 gauge to show a less expensive price. We recommend 26 gauge for residential and 24 gauge for commercial. However many of our standing seam jobs are 24 gauge both in residential and small commercial.
